Predator
This was done as a project for a class. It was a choose your own adventure style assignment, and based on what started off being a 200 words or less story. You can read this below the first part of the comic. I fully illustrated the first ending. The second two endings are just rough sketches.
Predator
Howling wind whipped around the cabin. A fire blazed in the stove warming the small, single room interior, the only other source of light a laptop on the table before you. Barely legal, the site claimed.
You jumped a little when someone tapped on the front door. It was midnight and you weren’t expecting company, but your curiosity got the best of you. A girl of about twelve stood shivering, staring up at you with large blue eyes, holding a small, black cat inside her jacket. Her auburn hair whipped around her pale face as the warmth of the house joined with the freezing outdoor air.
“Are you lost?” you asked, looking around for a vehicle, or perhaps a companion looking to rob you.
“Please, I am so cold,” she said.
“Yes, yes, come inside,” you told her, switching on a lamp and locking the door quickly behind her while wondering how you got so lucky.
She released the cat and they both stood beside the fire silently. She was small and looked innocent and helpless as she stared around the room. You felt your face stretch into a grin as her eyes flickered towards the laptop and the barely legal teens behaving badly.
“Do you like what you see?” you asked, licking your lips.
She rose to her feet, staring fiercely into your eyes and she grinned. Your heart quickens, this was not how they were supposed to react. A low, rumbling growl fills the room and you notice that the once small cat was changing into a creature of shadows with long teeth and claws. You try to back away, but shadows are fast.
